Together with the Art Director - Nathan Phail-Liff, I helped the development of UI Art for in-game environment assets and devices following a design guideline based on UI work that was previously performed by the Lead UI Artist - Davison Carvalho and Ash Thorp.
Since it's a VR game, the design should be simple, bold and readable for the player, I tried to keep it clean without lose the feeling and aesthetic of the game universe.
The Pressure Pump is a control panel located in the ship's Greenhouse.
It controls the aeroponic pressure of the greenhouse which in turn affects the hydroponic flow of the irrigation system.
The Scanner Tablet is an AR (augmented reality) tablet that is generated (and then updated) whenever the player scans their environment with the main character’s scan tool.
This tablet reports on the target of the scan.
The Power Transformer is a control located in the space station's Oxygen Garden (a greenhouse).
This device is themed as the transformer for many of the electrically powered items in the room.
